Directions of use

1. Before you start

Cleanse the area where you wish to depilate with a soap and warm water. Then dry it thoroughly. The area to be waxed must be clean dry and free of creams or cosmetics.

"With the lid tightly in place, place the tube of wax into a cup of hot tap water as shown in the diagram. Leave in for 1 minute to warm the wax. Remove the tube and dry thoroughly.

If the wax is difficult to get out of the tube, replace the lid tightly and place the tube back in the hot water for a further 1 minute to allow the wax to warm up more and achieves the right consistency."

It is important that the wax does not come into contact with water as it becomes ineffective.

Only a thin layer of wax must be applied to effectively remove hair.

2. How to apply the Wax

• Remove the cap from the tube. Test the temperature and flow of the wax by spreading a small amount onto the back of your hand.
• Squeeze the tube until a small bead of wax appears on the tip - only a small amount is needed. If wax is applied too thickly the hair removal will not be effective.
• Using the bevelled tip spread the wax onto the area you want to depilate, in the direction of hair growth.
• Immediately place a fabric strip over the wax, smoothing it on in the direction of the hair growth. Smooth the strip 2-3 times to help the wax grip the hair. Leave at least 1 cm at the end of the strip wax-free so that you can grip the strip when removing.
• "Hold the skin taut and swiftly remove the strip in the opposite direction of hair growth keeping the strip as parallel as possible to the skin.
  
• If you end up applying to much wax or apply wax where you do not wish to remove hair simply wash off with water and thoroughly dry the area before reapplying the wax."

Eyebrows

Cut the strip in a curve to adapt it to the eyebrow shape.

Separate hair to be removed using an eyebrow comb or the precision spatula.

Start applying the wax beginning from the inner part of the eyebrow. Following the natural brow line move toward the end of the eyebrow. For a more precise application use the precision stick.

Apply the strip and press firmly. Hold the skin taut while pulling the strips in the direction of the nose. Repeat on the other eyebrow.

Upper Lip

Treat each side of your lip (left and right) separately.

Use the bevelled tip to spread the wax starting from the centre of the upper lip in the direction of hair growth.

Apply the strip and press firmly. Hold the skin taut while pulling the strips in the direction towards the centre of the upper lip. Repeat on the other side of the upper lip.

Chin

Before applying the wax determine the direction of hair growth.

Apply the wax in the direction of hair growth in small areas at a time.

Apply the strip and press firmly.

Hold the skin taut while pulling the strips in the opposite direction of hair growth.

4. After Waxing

• Simply wash off any residues with water.
• After use used strips may be rinsed with water and dried in order to be re-used for the next hair removal session.
• Rinse the stick with warm water and allow to dry before putting it back into the box.
• Using a damp cloth remove the excess wax from the edges of the tube before closing it.
• Please note: it is important that the wax does not come into contact with water as it becomes ineffective.

Beautician Tips

• Use an eyeliner or brow pencil to draw the desired shape on your eyebrows. It will help you achieve perfectly shaped eyebrows.
• To soothe the skin after strip removal, immediately apply pressure with your hand.
• Always wax in advance to allow time for any redness to disappear.
• To avoid in-grown hair after waxing exfoliate and moisturise your skin regularly.

Precautions

• Designed for use on the female facial areas of eyebrows, upper lip and chin but not suitable for use on the rest of the face, head, breast, perianal or genital areas or on any other body parts.
• Keep away from eyes. If product should come into contact with eyes, wash immediately with water for 15 min.
• Do not use on cold sores, varicose veins, scars, moles, broken, irritated, sunburnt skin, or on skin that has reacted badly to waxes in the past.
• Check with your doctor before using if you are on any medication which can affect the skin or if you suffer from any skin related disorder.
• Waxing is not suitable for the elderly and diabetics or people taking oral retinoids.
• After waxing we recommend waiting 24 hours before using make-up, any other perfumed product, using artificial tanning equipment, sunbathing or swimming.
• Before every use, TEST YOUR SKIN REACTION by applying and removing the wax to a small part of the area you wish to treat, following the directions for use. If after 24 HOURS there is no adverse reaction, begin waxing.
• DO NOT rub or scratch the area after waxing, this may cause irritation
• Always store and use in a dry, cool place.
• Wax will not remove very short hairs.
• Do not microwave.
